Jaycar LED Matrix display
Using a Real Time Clock module I constructed a LED Matrix board to inform customers how close we were to closing time. The matrix was programmed to display “Closing Soon” 15 minutes before the closing time, “Closing” 5 minutes before closing time and “Closed” when we closed. The matrix was programed to display these messages at different times of the day as through out the week our closing times were variable. The matrix board was also programed to promote specials depending on the sales period.
Altronics RGB LED Matrix Display
The Altronics Matrix Display was designed to show off the capabilities of the RGB LED Matrices sold by Altronics. As Such I programed it to be as eye catching as possible. The control interface was hand soldered and integrated with an Arduino Mega. The RGB LED Matrix displays an Altronics logo bitmap that flashes as well as promotional scrolling text that fluidly changes colour
